In the fall of 1994, after developing my first black and white film, I embarked on a journey of interpretive photographic expression that has now spanned more than thirty years. The technical influences on my photographic works are relatively easy to recognize in German Expressionism, Italian Neorealism, and Surrealism. However, the inspiration and themes I explore are often rooted in personal philosophical reflections and unusual life experiences, both real and dreamt.
